GRI was created to become a foundation for a highly competitive team in GT Racing, a highly professional structure for accommodating Gentlemen Drivers and a structure that will expand to a series of Formula championships in the future to support drivers from the Sports Management division.

In its first season – 2007 – a learning season in many ways, the team decided to focus on the Belcar championship. Organized by SRO, this is one of the most competitive European GT championships.

For 2008, GRI would like to potentially repeat its appearance in this championship as well sa potentially compete in the FIA GT3 championship. All of this is the hands of SRO and will be decided over the coming weeks.

Mid-term, it is the objective of GRI to be able to compete at 24 hours of Le Mans in the GT category and with winning car/drivers combination. This could hopefully be done with our current partners at Mosler but will very much depend on the evolution of the homologation process for these cars. Regardless of these important considerations, expect to see us racing at Le Mans in a not so distant future.
